Subject: Help with my Family history

Hello people .First let me say that I am not from your town and that I am only half welsh by birth .My mother was welsh she was called Elizabeth Teleri Thomas and was born in Cwm Trch Islaf near the Black Mountains. I lived there for a while as a boy as my parents split up for a while .I was born myself in the centre of London and so am a cockney by birth but I look to my welsh family for my roots .My grandfather was a miner and the village healer .He was also a druid bard and told my father that the name Teleri was a clan name .I do not know anymore about it and so would ask your help in knowing more .
My partner bought me a book about Abertillery thinking that it was the same name .Is it ?.She wants to bring me there to visit my history but I told her that I have not been to Abertillery and that Cwm Trch is a way away from there .
I would like to learn more about the clan Teleri from someone .And how if it is the same name as Tillery my family got to the Cwm to live .
As another matter of interest I am wanting to get to know anyone who plays the Crewth and or the welsh bagpipes and the celtic overtone flute as my grandfather did .
I would be interested in a music project with them also .I play the native american flute and celtic flute and have been pursuing my journey for 6 years now ,my sister lives in Machylleth and i live in northampton england right now but I could visit .
Thank you people
blessings
peter
