Not moaning just pointing out what in my opinion what would be the adverse effects of opening a Wetherspoons.If you're up for eating in amongst those enjoying the cheap booze on a Saturday night that's your choice.Just how being able to do that would raise the standards of all the others and promote growth and development though I can't see. If you had a pub and the only time you really made a worthwhile profit was from concentrating selling drinks on the weekend,what would you be doing?That's not even mentioning the effect it would have on those that in the week make at least some money from lunch time food provision

- I never have problems parking in Abertillery??? we have a big multi storey plus numerous other parking spaces around town??? If you cannot park use public transport then! Recent findings have shown that people now spend more of their income on Entertainment than whitegoods now so surley increasing the number of pubs and clubs is good inwards investment (NT) -- B Thomas, 12:12:38 01/25/06 Wed
