Not moaning just pointing out what in my opinion what would be the adverse effects of opening a Wetherspoons.If you're up for eating in amongst those enjoying the cheap booze on a Saturday night that's your choice.Just how being able to do that would raise the standards of all the others and promote growth and development though I can't see. If you had a pub and the only time you really made a worthwhile profit was from concentrating selling drinks on the weekend,what would you be doing?That's not even mentioning the effect it would have on those that in the week make at least some money from lunch time food provision
