Subject: Donald McCulloch c. 1929

I am trying to find more information about Donald McCulloch's siblings and also their father Andrew McCulloch. I have the following rather scant information:

Andrew was a Railway Yard Foreman in Abergavenny. He lived in various accommodation in Abergavenny, with his wife Clara (nee Hancocks). They had 12 children and all were baptised in St. Mary's Church in Abergavenny. The 11th child was Donald McCulloch who lived at 101 Princess St., Abertillery in 1929. Donald's wife was called Ceridwen. I do not know if they had children. I am led to believe that Andrew was a lay preacher - possibly a Baptist. This would not appear to tie with the fact that his children were all baptised in St. Mary's. I am assured that he was a very devout Christian. As a small child, my mother recalled visiting relatives who lived in the Abertillery area. She recalled climbing a long hill to the relatives' house and believed that they either had a flower shop or that they grew flowers!(c. 1927)

Would any of the above jog anyone's memory to help me in my quest to know more about the McCulloch side of my family?

Clara McCulloch (Andrew's wife) died in Weston-s-Mare in 1929. I believe I may have found when Andrew died, but until the certificate arrives I am not certain. If correct his death was registered in Bedwellty in the June quarter of 1915.

I await responses to this message with great anticipation!
