Mark
as i have been self employed for 40 years and had many types of businesses from small to the million a year turnover there is one good tip i would give you. first forget the market trader idea. why ? well if you stand and watch a market in operation you will always notice that most are quiet but there are always the few who are busy. the butcher the baker etc, why is this ,well its because they have a skill. its not by chance. its the same in the high streets the ones that succed are the ones with something to offer other than being prepared to stand in a shop all day!!.
o.k. let me tell you what i would do and in fact have done when i have been struggling. Window cleaning, why? well you dont need to much skill the outlay is minimum and the rewards are there for the taking. also you meet customers maybe they want painting or other odd jobs and on you go.
sounds simple! it is I gaurantee.if you want any help with setting up please let me know.
