Once upon a time during the last week in july and first week in august of 1964 my father took me to show the area he grew up in. I had never left Ramsgate in Kent until then.
I was nine years of age and on a couple of days was taken to pick the berries off the large hills.Tredegar. WONDERFUL DESSERT TART WAS MADE.
The next year I was taken again during the same weeks and this time on the last day took back to Ramsgate these berries. A Tart was made.I never returned due to bereavement.TWO PLANTS failed due to kent alkali chalk soil?
