*His worried eyes and expression go back to normal once he sees she was alright. He then chuckles a little, even though times were quite bad and bad things had just happened.*

Aye, why me? I'm just an old guy that no one knows.

*He then grins, and looks at her myschiviously(goodness! Late night! x_x). How he missed the days she was quite a young filly of probably only two or three, and him 4. But now he was going on five, age not forgetting his little buckskin hiney(^_-). Suddenly, he feels and hears his mate. He stamps his foot hurridly, to get a picture of her sent up to his brain quickly. Ahhhh....War Angel. Although they had been mates quite some time now, the war had been devistating to them both. He then notices she was now showing signs of child. He smiled wide. Although helping others and fighting for what was right described him, his dream was always to have a child, and who better then with his first crush and one and only mate. He smiled and nuzzled her back.*

Yes, I shall be alright. Daughter of Time healed me, but I still have scars and bruises, but now I am not longer losing blood or have open wounds.

*He then, although he could not see it due to his blindess and not feeling like stamping to see it, he felt the caked blood everywhere possible on his body. He cringed slightly at the thought of what he might look like right now.*

Perhaps I shall rinse off later.

*He says, then lets his blue eyes of blindess gaze over everyone.*

[> So swift the fleeting wind -- Daughter of Light, 21:24:11 11/20/03 Thu [1]

(ooc- wow... and I thought I could disappear without event. I'll come back, for now. Someone give me a very brief update--what's been going on? I hope I'm not too late... Oh! And I turn 17 tomorrow! YAY! hehe)

With a slow, measured pace, the faded noble slowly entered the lands she had for many years called home. Indeed, though winter was looming impatiently, the isle still clung to its proud verdancy, refusing to relinquish its prize to the clutches of frost. But against death, it seemed, even paradise offered no immunity.
The mare herself was aged, though she bore it well. She had been a healer for hardly less time than she had been a mare, and the natural ability eased the passage of time and prevented its heartless wrath. It was as though the magic compensated for its momentary weakening of the self by ultimately resisting weakness.
In her self-imposed exile, the mare's looks had come to fit her station. Her tresses had lengthened into luxurious waves of cream that graced her neck and hindquarters, her silky forelock adorning her poll like no more suitable crown. In solemn silence, she slid her gaze over the grounds, neck arched in subdued pride as her banner softly kissed her hocks. She absorbed it with mixed emotions, none of which trespassed onto her features. Of DOT she was immensely proud; in searching all the lands she would have found no finer a mare than this who now led the lights, and the former monarch knew her trust had been well-placed. But the sight of her battered grandson struck her own heart, though he had been healed. DOT's own aura spoke of this plainly, for though it may not cross her lips, the two major healings had drained her greatly. Around Dog Soldiers, whose presence would have been a shock had she not steeled herself against all surprises, there hung a dank air of impending death. It was not his body that was fading away, but his very spirit. The golden goddess remained fixated in her place, awaiting a reaction from those she had known for so long.
