The sage met his gaze with compassion, unflinching throughout his short speech. Though her urge was to rush to heal one so close to death, precious little can stop the determined danger. "Sorry for what?" she questioned with sympathy. Though she would never share his feelings, she would not be cruel in denying his. If he wished to talk, she would be the last person to refuse him this last action.

Spying the arrival of DOL, she noticed Dog Soldiers, return, and even before his nod of dismissal, she herded the others away, with a last look back, she grinned at Dog Soldiers with not the faintest hint of sympathy, for she knew that was the last thing he wanted from her, and winked at DOL, she could wait to speak with her, Dog Soldier's was far more important right now. She mouthed the words

"I'll see you later."

And turned back, keeping the others moving so as to give DOL and Dog some space.
