^in a flash, the brute's anger returns. he snorts angrily and whirls to face the younger femme. this is not how he had wanted it, but his temper was greater than his will^ Do what? Be left by my mother? Disappointed by my sister? Do you honestly think that I didn't care about Dreamspeaker Falls? That I don't care now that it's gone? That was my home, DoT. The only home I ever knew, the place where my family lived. Others lived there too, you know. Not just you, not just Glory, not just me. ^he snorts and stamps the sands with a hoof, sending the sparkling grains flying^ But you wouldn't stop to think about that, would you? Oh no, let's just blame it on Resaelis, because he couldn't care less. Never did, right? ^he silences his words with another derisive, outraged cry and rears in pure exasperation, daggers lashing at the azure sky. dropping back to all fours, he fixes the filla with an icy stare, just awaiting her response in silence that rings after his cries^

[> Quiksilver Storm -- SilverStar, 11:06:35 11/22/03 Sat [1]

Daughter of the Winds makes her way through the swirling mists, slender faerae form moving with fluid grace and effortless speed, actions touched by an airy lightness and easy fleetness granted to no other. Like a phantom she slips into a terra she had once dwelt in, the dancing memories of the queen tournament flickering through her mind as she cantered along, small, flinty hooves barely grazing the white sands as she flew along. Large, dark eyes with their inner stormy fire glanced round from a facade of exquisite chiselled features...small, perfectly shapen thorns were ever swiveling, wide-set pools were large and full of cleverness, forehead tapered down to a tiny teacup muzzle, with wide nostrils quivering and flaring large in the sooty velvet of the mug. Face was gorgeously tapered and dished to the point of beauty to wrench your heart. Long tresses of inky silk whirl and dance on lithe arched crest, twirling and leaping, raven rivulets on satiny silver. Her body was slender and light-boned, yet strong and hardy, Arabian/Mustang lineage breeding true into the best of bost breeds, though her appearance was that of a purebred Arab. Sun burned away the shining fog, glinting off of sleek hide, the rich silver starred with steely dapples gleaming, though polished by only wind and water. The vision flew by, leaving a bittersweet tanginess faintly reminding of the sea. For she was the one, the only daughter of the ocean, and to her was left the world of the sea. She lived only for the beautiful, lonely world of the wild, stormy sea.
Reaching her destination, the silver phantom slows and halts near the duo, her features alight with joy at seeing one of the only true equine friends she had ever known. Standing beside the young Queen, the two sterling equaes appeared more like sisters than friends. Nickering warmly, her wild tones dancing up the scale in tingling, silvery notes of the elusive song of the seas, she greeted the new matriarch of all Light Horses. ~Hail, Queen.~ Her voice was warm and rich, congratulating and embracing. SilverStar had returned.
