[ . Feeling vaguely uncomfortable amidst the knot of horses, the golden mare discreetly removed herself and her son from the crown. Nudging the tiny chestnut along ahead of her, Tori moved towards the shelter and solitude of a copse of trees. Hex thought this was a grand idea and romped around, kicking up his miniature heels and snapping playfully at anything that dared to fly too close to his mouth. The sun-kissed fae relaxed marginally, dropping her head to graze absently, all the while keeping a close eye on her son. A niggling feeling tickled the reaches of her subconcious, the reason why she was discontent. She missed her home. Sure, the Isle was beautiful and the residents had all been perfectly charming, but it wasn't home to her. A small sigh escaped. She knew that she had to live on the Isle at least part time. Her mate had duties and responsibilities to attend to here, and Elven had known no other terra. Something had to give, and Tori had no clue what that might be. The firey chestnut continued his enthusiastic frolics, completely oblivious to the turmoil his mother was facing only mere feet away . ]
