She's getting some bad press because she hasn't affected GL's ratings and stuff like that hurts a diva's feelings. Joanie's 15 minutes of fame were up a while ago and she can't admit it. I don't care what the state of GL is, she should have stuck with the commitment she made. I almost think that this GL stint was nothing more than a publicity stunt for her book. I flipped over to see her performance on Friday and had to wonder who has more plastic surgery...her, Michael Jackson, or Cher? I don't want to be mean but at 68, Joan Collins reminds me of a cross between Ronald Reagan (remember how they kept dying his hair to make him appear younger) and Norma Desmond (washed up star from "Sunset Boulevard").

I can't speak to who should pick up the role but I would definitely take a look if they could get Beverlee McKinsey to return.
