10 Years Ago Today....

"Santa Barbara" aired its final episode.

Never did I think 10 years later.....

* I would have watched and then stop watching 11 soaps:
DAYS AW LOV GL ATWT B&B Y&R AMC OLTL GH PSSNS! And
now back to watching again... B&B Truly NO SOAP since
SANTA BARBARA has been able to keep my attention for over 2-3 years. ALL 11 were cheap replacements to the greatness of SB.
* Daytime would be on the verge of extinction due many factors, most notably the obsession with youth.
* Daytime would launch soaps like CITY SUBE PSSNS PC-novelas), well not surprised they would launch them, I think its great new concepts are tried, afterall SB in 1984 was something very new. What surprised me is the fact network execs and people in charge refuse to accept DEFEAT! They blame the audience or other things, its never the fact what they tried FAILED!
* And the BIGGEST Never Thought... I would have created 4 television soaps of my own due to being inspired from the fallen Santa Barbara.
