Wow.....Frons doesn't hold back any punches, does he?

It'll be interesting to see what this man will do at ABC. He seems dedicated to the genre and knows what he wants to do.

But as far as Sunset Beach goes, from what I understand, the brass at NBC wanted the show to go under major retooling before the shows debut, which is one of the reasons for H. Wesley Kenney(?)'s departure(I heard that he wasn't a "yes" man, like Tomlin).

But Sunset Beach did revamp the show to a certain degree: They fired Kelly Hu(big mistake in my opinion. The character of Casey never recovered from that.) and a couple of other actors and shifted the focus of some of the characters and storylines. Not really MAJOR revamping, but Sunset Beach did morph itself into this "Shock Value" kind of show, never afraid to try anything that was new and challenging.

I have a feeling Frons's first victim is Port Charles. I'd be shaking in my boots if I were a cast member of that show.
