Sure if GL maintains its ratings it could
last until 2005. However... if GL starts
to sink below a 3 HH rating, and then stays
in the 2's, I expect CBS to seriously
consider canceling it.

In recent years all the once successful soaps to have been
canceled: Another World, Loving, and Santa Barbara
all were axed when those shows sunk and then stayed
in the mid-2s HH ratings.

(GEN/CITY/SUBE) doesn't matter because each
of those shows never became a success, much
like present day, PC and PSSNS. By this I mean
none of those shows were ever in the 3 or higher HH
ratings, therefore their cancelations can not
be likened to any possible cancelation of GL.
