AW almost did the same. In 1993, there was talk
P&G wanted to buy the SB characters of Mason and Julia.
That never happened, in some ways I've always been curious what would they have done, although as we've seen with AW/ATWT, I now know what exactly would have happened: a disaster! I'm now very thankfull Mason and Julia faded into the sunset on January 15, 1993, because had they showed up in Bay City they probably would have ended up either divorced or dead! LOL
