Seems to me like Fox would be more privvy to your idea, especially cosnidering that at one time, the network was preparing to launch a daily after 10PM soap, 13 Bourbon Street, around the same time NBC was preparing to launch Sunset Beach.

Not only that, but syndicated programming that pull in big numbers like Wheel of Fortune(On a good week averages 9.0 or higher) and Jeopardy!(Will average between usually 7.0-8.00) occupy the 7:30-8PMEST time slot. But then again, those shows are only popular with young children and older demographics, so perhaps syndicated games aren't as profitable when they are advertising Tiger Handhelds, Sea Bond and Diabetic Testing Supplies.

It's hard for me to even believe that years ago, there were more than 11, 12 soaps on the air. It would be a dream to have that many soaps to choose from.
