DAMN! 2.7? How low can the soaps go?

In think the syndicated Hollywood Squares pulls better numbers than that.

But if daily soaps are a dying breed, they'll come back in one way or another, like game shows.

I remember growing up with only Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and Family Feud. This fall, we will have those above mentioned shows and Hollywood Squares, The $100,000 Pyramid, The Weakest Link and Who Wants to be a Millionaire this fall. Along with these shows, there will be numerous game-operas(as TVGamesShows.net's Steve Beverly loves to call them) in primetime and judging by the success of the primetime Price is Right, Les Moonves will probably add more specials as midseason replacements.

So if soaps die, it'll be about 5-10 years, but they'll come back in force.
