I am looking for Joey Nicosia too. I last saw Joey about 3 years ago. He frequented a piano bar that I play at in Greensboro, NC. However, he went by the name of Jeff. And unfortunately I cannot recall his last name. He mentioned that he was a member of the Tip Tops in the 60s, and I was unaware at the time that I have one of the Tip Tops 45 rpm records as it was recorded under the name the Groove. (Love it's getting better - a song I love.) I am sure that Joey and Jeff is the same person as his younger photograph on one of the Tip Tops websites is unmistakably the same. Jeff said that he was employed at the time at Wake Forest University as an Instructor of Cultural History. That is all the information I have and hope that this helps in your search. If you find Joey (or Jeff) would you please email me and let me know how I might be able to get in touch with him? I would appreciate it. - Mike Evans
