Hi Margaret,
I know your post is quite old; but I found myself in the same boat with this drug. Left me very fuzzy and I didn't like the feeling at ALL.
My local MD wanted to jack me up to 2400mg. At 1800 is where I noticed the dizziness and it pretty much stayed around. I cut it down to 1200 and I may attempt to lower.
I am 57 and suffer from chronic arthritis pain (lumbar disk is shot).
Wanted to know how you made out (so to speak).
