I don't have this problem but I have been reading for a while on this very suffering illness. The cause of the pain in unknown according to about 100 medical researches that I have read. You have to try different options and try to find a means to reduce pain that works for you. Please be careful to the people who want your money pretending they have a treatment. The mdrug Pabapentin is interesting you could read on it.
