I have noticed that when I take gabapentin 300mg 3 times a day I feel drowsy at time but it is not real bad but I think higher doses might be counter productive. I have found that when I take 800-1,000 mg of Ibuprofen 1 a day in combination to the 300mg tablets 3 times a day I get best results...I have a c4-c6 incomplete spinal cord injury and have been dealing with nerve spasticity and pain, I am finding that since taking gabapentin I can turn the pain into something positive, because now I can relate the pain to certain muscles that are non functioning or at least not at the level they should be functioning...
