Subject: The Hulk Author: Glenn [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 01:59:23 06/25/03 Wed Everyone was giving this movie a negative review from what I've read/heard/been told but when I saw it, I thought it was pretty damn good! I actually was surprised that it was more of a drama than an action flick (seeing as there's this HUGE green glob of a man tossing tanks in the previews.) But yeah, this was knee deep in thought with the way Ang Lee made the overall film. The plot was good, the action (at times) descent, and the ACTING was amazing. Remember now, this is a "comic made to movie" so the acting usually suffers (i.e. Daredevil) so I thought you guys might want to check it out. Most of the teens in the theatre were yelling "THAT SUCKED!" Probably most of them aren't a fan of the comic book, lack attention disorder (the story does tend to bore kids easily who came in expecting lots of action), and/or thought that Legally Blonde 2 is going to be the "feel" good movie of this summer. One thing is for sure though, it beats the hell out of "2 fast 2 furious". What a god awful film that was. That's definitely a MTV-esque teen flick IMO. Ang Lee blended plot with action and acting. Something you don't see in most Marvel based films. Not as good as X-men 2 but still worth checking out. :) [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]

Subject Author Date Thanks for review of The Hulk Glenn, I saw the previews and thought The Hulk movie looks really lame, but then again I wasn't into The Hulk tv series or the comic either that maybe why I am not interested in seeing this movie. 2 Fast 2 Furious was a pretty damn good movie had a lot better plot than the first one did and best part was it had bad guys in it.
