Kobe can now score 30 points a game and not share the ball with anyone sense Shaq is gone. I can't believe that excuse that the owner of the Lakers said that Kobe had nothing to do with Shaq getting traded to the Heat and that Jackson is no longer the coach Kobe got his way and got rid of both, Kobe needs Shaq more than Shaq needs Kobe I think Shaq can win a championship without Kobe I just don't see Kobe wining a championship without Shaq. Subject Author Date Shaq has at the most 2-3 good years left. I somewhat agree the owner shouldn't have traded him but at the same time, I'm not going to cry that he's gone. The team is looking to go young and I've preached it for 4-5 years even with Shaq on the team. I actually thought Kobe would go to the Clips ..then we would be in hell. We'll see how it turns out. The way the team played, the lack of motivation from players, etc. Phil was going to go regardless if they would've won the championship or not. Also, don't buy that Shaq never wanted to leave crap either. Kobe or him had to go ..we just couldn't keep both of those egos for another 2-3 years. Plus you know the Heat aren't automatically given the rings.
