Closing her eyes,she touches her long muzzle to the mare's pain wracked body.A soft,gentle warmth is released,which begins to mend Calliope's many wounds.It travels through the cuts,mendin and burning out infection.It restores the wings,replacing charred and useless feather vanes with sleek new ones.A small burst of energy is restored to her as well. "There.It is done. You will have scars,but they are not tremendous,nor do I have the least inclination that you are vain.And now,to your prize.That's what you went to all the trouble for isn't it?" She taps a talon on the side of her muzzle,thinking aloud."A gift..a power? No,no....a favor? Yes,I believe that is it!" Turning to Calliope,she looks thoughtfully at her."We'll compromise. Your prize is this...if there be a time when you or one you love is in any great peril,and it must be all consuming,you may call on me,and I shall do all I can to assist you.Now,to do that,I must give you a small source of transcendentalism,so that should you need to stzay in one place,you can still come and reach me.You may only use this favor once,and the power will slowly fade afterward(for I don't think I have the ability to confer upon someone a permanent power),but it is a great thing.It does not necessarily have to be a healing thing.You could be under siege or something similar,and I will defend you and yours,but only once.And the cause must be just(no 'he's annoying,thump him!'kinda thing...I'm not a goon:P).But it is a great thing,to have a dragon at your defense.Don't think,mind,that this means we're friends.I still think your'e an annoying gnat.But a worthy one."She smiles wickedly,and places a small silver necklace with an azure stone set in it around her neck.It sinks harmlessly into the skin."That will come foward when you call on me,so I will remeber who it is.Not that I would forget,but it is a precaution.Now,go you in peace to your home." She nods and turns to go.
