® He task would be students A would have a map and students B would have another one, both maps would be incomplete. The information each student needs to complete his or her map would be in the other student’s map. They would have words to formulate questions such as: bank, hospital, girl etc. As they are practicing directions this would be, I think, a good activity.
According to Littlewood this activity could be classified as following directions that is insert in the topic sharing information with unrestricted cooperation. The interaction in this case is more creative and unpredictable, the learner in order to communicate more effectively, will sometimes select forms that are not grammatically perfect, the teacher should not correct them at once he/she should use this errors as useful indicators of what still needs to be learned.
