Portfolio is a compilation of students� works that can be evaluated. They are �collections of student work representing a selection of performance� (Sweet, 1993). Together with the portfolio, students can compare their drafts in order to realize and reflect on what they�ve done. I think it�s a great way of evaluating students because they can learn with their mistakes. With the teacher�s feedback students get more motivated to accomplish the next tasks, or in some cases to change the way the work is being done. We as teachers can plan on future lessons or even think of building a curriculum based on portfolios because they show what it must be worked more consistently. The portfolio should have all material dated to measure the students� progress. It must be agreed that the idea of the portfolio is to evaluate the student progress by the teacher.
