Fifteen Minutes of Fame

Choose one student to be one of the participants of the next Big Brother Brazil. He will give an interview to various reporters. During fifteen minutes he will be the most important person of the school. The other students can be the reporters and make the question to the interview. They can follow these examples: “Where are you from?”, “Do you have a boyfriend?”
Use your imagination and take advantage of this chance to be famous!

This activity allows the participation of various students at the same time. It’s not necessary that the students make long questions. It will depend of their knowledge of English language. The teacher also can ask one or more students to, during the interview, copy the questions and answers to publish them in a newspaper after.

Following the types of activities described by Littlewood, Fifteen Minutes of Fame can be classified in the group of ‘sharing information with restricted information’, because the student chosen to be the participant of the TV program and the other students that will be the reporters can answer and ask only what they want or know speak in English. The interaction between the students will respect their level, being the production of them simple or complex.
