Genre-based approach that gives for teacher an opportunity to explore different aspects of use language. According to Gazzoti genres can be seen as rules created and defined by human beings to use the language for specific reason in specific contexts. This approach, in my opinion, can be worked very well by side of the communicative approach, because the aim is not the grammatical rules, but the use language in several ways. I think the Holme’s theory is very good to clarify this approach: “bringing society into the classroom”. If the teacher use the Communicative Approach resources together the genres, I think we will have a “real life” into the class. Of course, in real life (out of the class) the genres to mix in several contexts, but in the class the teacher can works with them step by step: in every class emphasize different contexts of use of the language.

This approach help the student to perceive that are certain social conventions: to talk in determined places, culture, country; to write in different styles; to reading according to the base of the text.
