Subject: Task 7

Analyzing the class plane “Buy a Car” we can see that it do not follow the pieces of advice given by Stephen B. Ryan in his text.
The first thing is since a communicative approach encourages us to make our students to try to use oral language as much as possible this lesson is not given any direction in order to make the students speak. What we can see is a totally written work.
Another point to be observed is that the students don’t do any free practice they are only instructed to write lists and make papers but do not have a change to make real use of the language.
Besides the teacher doesn’t specify the goals he want to achieve by doing this exercise.
More over, we can’t find in his class plane how does the teacher intend to give the students feedback for their work.
In conclusion what we can see is that this class plane was not developed in the right way in order to be considered a good practice in the communicative approach.
