Subject: Task 6

To design a communicative course the teacher must have in mind one word: communication. The planning of the activities, the form of assessment, the schedule of the course, every aspect must be focused towards the communication. The students must face strategies and tools that make them aware that they are not just learning rules, but learning to communicate in a foreign language.

In a communicative course the students need to practice English as a concept of a real thing. The teacher must lead them to the discovery that English is real and happens every time and anytime. Be ready to speak English is be ready to communicate. Also, as a real subject, the students must know that the error is part of the language. They can commit mistakes in the process of communication, and this is like the real life. Through trial and error, in a tentative way, the learning will be much more meaningful.

So, having this in mind the teacher can design a communicative course, which will immerse their students in the language and promote a development of their language skills. When the students concentrate on communication, the language came in easily.
