Describe the design of a prototypical communicative course.

A communicative class should has some special cares with the theme and with the audience. We do the choice of the theme according to the class interesting, age, culture... and others specifics needs. This is very important because promote the interesting in the class.
The course need have some guidelines as:

Objective: The main objective is effective communication. The teacher will facility their students to be able to communicate in a foreign language. He/she will promote the fluency in priority of the accuracy and the students will learn express opinions, feelings...etc.

Types of learning and teaching activities: The activities should involve the class one each other, they need to be interacts to development own abilities. It necessary the break of the feelings barriers as afraid, insecurity, shyness...

The role’s learners: To analyze this is necessary to think in the capacity of student monitor their own learning, so if he/she can help him/herself they are have a essential role in the own development. The learner is the center of the class.

The teachers’ role: The teacher is responsible to put the student as the center. He/she will work according their necessities. He is not the detector of the knowledge, but a facilitator to the class development own abilities.

The material: Is essential creative material. It can to promote interesting, and opportunities to approach of a real situation if well select: Original magazines, newspaper, pictures, maps can be so good to clear about a subject.

There are also some principles of communicative approach:

1. Task-oriented: the practice of linguistics exercises and “real exercises”(based in real world, not in grammar’ rules)
2. Needs-based: The base of the class should be the needs of students.
3. Learning-centered: The teaching is transparent, the teacher showing the reasons to do an determined activity.
4. Contextualized: The activities are inter-related.
5. Authenticity in discourses, in communicative events, in learning experiences.
6. Aligned with Course/ Instruction Objectives
7. Situated in Discourse: The show the appropriate language, the conventions, the roles...
8. Sources of Comprehensible, Negotiated Input: It is necessary clear all the steps: The why to use determined language, to solve problems in pairs or in small groups, encourag...
9. Recursive: Revision about last class and previously about later lessons.
10. Sequenced with attention to learning acquisition
