Subject: Task 7

According to Ryan the teacher has to provide adequate feedback, determine clarify goals, have consistency in teaching style and the lessons need a routine or framework and cultural awareness.
The lesson “buy a car” by Karlys Wells was divided in phases :
research phase, decision-making phase and sharing phase.
The learners would practice the four skills:
listening, speaking, writing and reading .
The focus is on real language use in real-life situation.
The tasks were practical, interesting and fun for the students.
The learners interacted with each other and the teacher was only a facilitator.
So, in this lesson , the target language is a vehicle for communication not just an object to be studied.
