I think that classroom activities must maximize opportunities for learners to use target language in a communicative way for meaningful activities. Ryan argues that teachers must keep in mind that planning a lesson must be practical and meaningful. I think it is the most important point Ryan stated, because motivation will keep students interested in what they are doing. In the case of Wells lesson, I believe that Wells` lesson is a practical activity. Once, the theme proposed involves research and solutions to day-by-day problem.

Another point, I perceived in the lesson proposed by Wells is students autonomy in the learning process. Wells proposes the RESEARCH PHASE, where students must divide the ideas into categories and research in Internet each category ( I suppose students will search the vocabulary ( incorporating new words) of each logical category proposed by Wells). I think it is a good warm-up, since this activity been used in a real social context in it own right, because there learners and teacher enter into equally real social relationships with each other. The structures and skills students will acquire during classroom interaction can later be transferred to other kind of situations.

The DECISION-MAKING PHASE is another important phase, where students will get more closer with the theme researched and share information and the results of their research, in a collaborative way. In conclusion, Wells lesson is very interesting to be used, however, it fails in some aspects ( Surely, Ryan disagrees in certain points proposed by Wells). The first one, and more perceptive is feedback. According to Ryan, feedback is very important to students, because it offers opportunities for learners to consistently misinterpret the goals of a course curriculum.
