She watches the two older stallions silently, but her attention is on the golden. At the insulting remark directed towards her daughter, however, the mare explodes, like any decent mother would. In a whirlwind of fury, she drives two hooves towards his shoulder, followed closely by angry incisors briefly seeking his neck. All of it, however, was merely in warning, and any that should land would not do quite the damage the seasoned mare was capable of. Her tone becomes dangerously calm as her attack ground to a halt, her stature proud and at the same time, indignantly offended. "You may insult me, you may degrade my position, but I will never allow you to mock those I love." With eyes reminiscent of the calm before the storm, she regards him cooly, awaiting any hint of a reply.
