Subject: just wondering
Just wondering how those bullsheeters, cowboys, and variouse freinds in MO, OK, and the rest of the Midwest, South, and Ca. have fared with these spring storms, and forest fires.
We've been pretty lucky here. Have had Tornados hit all around us within about a five to ten mile radius, but no direct hits.
We'll keep our prayers going for everyone around the country.
BTW. For those that may have heard about Ryans accident. God blessed us with his full recovery. Ryan was working on his truck a couple weeks ago when the radiator blew up in his face. He had 2nd degree burns to most of his face as well as his eyes. However, the burns healed very well, and there was no permanent damage to his eyes. He now has to wear sun block SPF 70 or higher on his face whenever he goes outside, but that is no big deal.

I am so sorry to hear about Ryan's accident. You all must have been besides yourself with worry. So happy to hear that he is recovering so well. The power of Prayer is a mighty thing, isn't it.

Thanks for the well wishes. It was quite a scary time. Is everyone else doing fine? No one has been in the path of bad storms or wild fires? The land hurricane last Friday (sorry forgot the scientific word for it) did quite a bit of damage from KS,OK,MO,KY and I think OH. so I wanted to make sure no one had been hurt or had damage.
Also wanted to say thanks to Joann for all your hard work with the game.

Darlynne
Glad to hear from you. Sorry to hear about Ryan. I hope his healing goes well with no additional problem. Would love to hear updates on the girls as well. The must be growing like weeds these days.
Good luck with those little twisters this year. I hope those in fire range have a better year this year but it appears that the fires have another plan.

D,
So good to hear from you. Looked at the "Arena" section and noticed it's been more than two years since any things were done.
Please pass along my best to Ryan ... and to you and your family.
Up here in northwest Missouri, we've primarily had just rain, but lots of it. We need some hot, windy days to dry some things out.
You're not too far away, Darlynne, so you might consider a PBR event in Ada, Okla., the last weekend of this month. It's the Cord McCoy Invitational, and it's going to feature some of the best bull riders in the business. It's an Enterprise Rent-A-Car Tour event, which is only fitting with Cord's sponsorship. It's also a Professional Bullfighters Daisy Protection Bullfight event, so the bullfighting will be exceptional. You should check it out.
And keep in touch.

Hey Dar! Good to hear from y'all. Sorry to hear about Ryan's accident, but glad to hear he's doing OK. Wow, it's hard to believe it's been 10+ years that all of us have been corresponding on line. Time sure flies.

Hi stranger! It is still very dry here in the good ole SW USA (S. Az.) Alot of fires around but so far none "too" close. Sorry to hear about Ryan. How old are the girls now? Hope your dad is okay. Of course we still miss Woody so much. Don't stay such a stranger. This old BS hasn't been the same in the past couple of years. We need you to help liven it up again.

The girls are doing great. Taylor is 7 and just completed her last day of first grade yesterday. She was on the honor roll this year. Caity is 3 and a little trickster. She is always antagonizing her sister. They both love to play around our little ranchstead. Riding horses or chasing chickens. But their favorite pastime is visiting Papaw. Dad is doing great. He often gets out fishing on the lake (okay, it's really a river, but they call it a lake around here*LOL).He still keeps up with his carpentry. He put a Tomato garden garden in his side yard a couple days ago which he and the girls take care of daily. My garden wasn't big enough for the 72 tomato plants I started (not with all the other things being grown), so he took a few. I still have about thirty or so to find space for. Dad and I had gone up to Baker Creek Heirloom seeds in February or March and I think he bought about every variety of heirloom tomato seed they had. So figuring I'd lose a few seedlings, I started six of every variety for him. I didn't lose a single one...got mighty blessed.
