漢字在不同時代、地區，由不同的人逐漸創造，不同古籍有許多不同的異體字，內地由一九五五年開始整理異體字，我並不完全認同內地的篩選方法，更不認同簡體字的造字理論，但煉金從火，會比從金合理。如果真的有文中所說的台灣詞典，只收鍊而沒有煉，那是詞典錯，也許是政治考慮。
內地字典辭典一律將鍊變成煉的異體字，香港老師教鍛煉或鍛練（練也是異體字），不會教鍛鍊，既然有現成合理的正體字──煉，香港人應否跟日本人重用鍊呢？
我會寫煉金術，要用古文異體字的話，不會跟日本人用字，也不會改日本名。　：）
