I forgot to say that I think the play must be a good one if it is recommended by Patsy. I cannot go to see it because I am not in Hong Kong. Also, I don't know how to type Chinese at a reasonable speed and hope you don't mind.

Also, having said that Andersen's some stories are real, not fairy tales, I must say that their endings are not real.

In certain sense, you can still say they are fairy tales. Real cases have different endings.

To be frozen to death is painful. The little match girl may not have a frozen smile. The boy that shouts "The king has no clothes on!" normally will be sent to jail or get executed. In a you-know-what country, that sort of people will get 8-10 years imprisonment. The king never rewards frankness. The public are not thankful.

Like a character in Doctor Zivago said "the interlectuals are cheated to believe that they are the group that the society are looking up to. In fact, they are the most despised by the public. Only rich people are respected."

However, I remain a fairy tale believer in some ways. The stories are true although the endings are not. The king is still without clothes. The girls are still lighting match to find some comfort. It may be street drugs or endless shopping.... There still can be other endings but not the simple "live happily ever after" ones.

Life must go on with the old and bold prince and princess.
