I would like to clarify some of my points.

I suppose it may be more handy to use stories of "Red Dance Dress", e.g. story of "Yellow Ribbon" for tv drama. Though I am not blind, I find the story touching. I may not understand a blind person's feeling fully but I can still imagine by the story description. It did tell me the wisdom and courage to hurdle disability. I find the blind girl "Wong Kuen" very lovely and really want to give her a big hug. The story gives a convincing account of how the blind people feel and think with details of the problems they are hurdling. The plot is less complex and easier to rewrite as tv drama. The Director can shot this as an independent story if having limitation of time.

The same applies to "Blue Clown" story in the book.

Living is already a fountain of inspiration. Good writer do not need "a handsome prince fell in love with a pretty princess" type of rich and famous vanity to attract the reader like the cheap love fictions. These are just flavour enhancers that can spoil the soup if overused. Neither is empty slogan or ungrounded optimism necessary.

Literature is great not because it is difficult and hard to understand so that a person can look clever for citing that. Instead, it is like art of cooking that can give the clients a taste they can never forget. It can offer inspiration and touching feeling by innovative ideas and descriptions.

The reader will choose what to do when the book show them a version of the reality with multiple angles. Literature is not textbook writing that tell people what to do. Reality is already attractive enough.

However one can still sense how much compassion towards people from the writer through his/her writing. A lot of very famous writers are lacking these quality. They just play with difficult words but the world they illustrate is cold, empty and boring. So their writings are not touching.

Patsy's writings showed her compassion and respect towards people around. They are touching.
