I am afraid I cannot agree with Ms Kwan's article "how to say". It is exactly for this reason that Regina Ip should be condemned because she did not know how to say and how to behave as a public servant. Can you imagine an employee talking to her boss in the manner as she did to Mr To in the LegCo? Ip is a public servant paid by the HK citizens. If it is a company, she is like an employed mangaer. The members of Legislative Council such as Mr To are directors elected by the shareholders. If you are owner of the company, will you allow a manager to talk to a director like her? That's why she should be fired! Remember she is a public servant, not a politican elected by the citizens.

By the way, I was myself a civil servant previously.
