Subject: Has to be the Swansea match in '95 although ...

...the Neath match two week before was a close contender - down in Neath and we were clearly the better team on the day. Neath supporters moved down the terrace at half time to sit in front of me and Dad anticipating a points deluge. Sorry boys! Kick off was also a treat for two reasons. Number one - Mike Whitson hitting one of the Llewelyn brothers (Glyn?) while the ball was still 10 feet off the ground, and number two the inevitable cry of 'all the time ref' from the terrace when the match was 20 seconds old!

Following week against Dunvant was killing to watch. I remember my knees giving way with the tension. As often in those days we were playing the rugby and they were doing what they used to do. Rhys Roberts played well that day. Was also the day of the immortal question at 4.30 in the club from my wifes mate: "what time are we coming back out tonight?" How do you mean like? BACK out?

By the way, I have got copy of the monday Argus article following Swansea 95 if anyone wants one. And I quote.."veteran Brandon Cripps described it as the finest result of his 23 year career"... Case closed!
