I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THE STANDED OF REFEREEING LAST SATURDAY WAS VERY GOOD.BECAUSE THE REF HAD A FEEL FOR THE GAME AND WE HAD A LITTLE BIT OF BANTER.GOING INTO THIS WEEKS GAME I THINK WE SHOULD ALL JUST FOCUS ON ONE GAME AT A TIME AND NOT WORRY ABOUT PROMOTION JUST YET.BECAUSE AT THE MOMENT IT IS OUT OF OUR HANDS.CAN I JUST ADD THE SUPPORT LAST SATURDAY WAS THE BEST OF THE SEASON PLEASE KEEP IT GOING (BIG THANKS FROM ALL THE PLAYERS)

Wasn't there so cannot comment on the ref but glad it was a 'grown-up' relationship. On the subject of promotion, we have to face facts that the maths is against us. Having said that, the 'one game at a time' approach is clearly the way forward. If we win saturday they might carry some self doubt into forthcoming games and then who knows - we may catch them. We have to keep the squad tight though and view this as a two-year plan. After a couple of seasons I think we are finding out quickly what it takes to succeed. The great thing is that we have a sustainable club currently, with a good structure bringing boys through. With the necessary smattering of older heads we have what it takes.
