Another win "dogged"out in difficult conditions. The swirling wind and the bitterly cold conditions made it virtually impossible to play our usual brand of exciting running rugby.In addition,Blaenavon in my humble opinion are the best side we have seen on the Park this season. Well done Aber a great win. Roll on Usk.

  • What can I say, an old fashioned derby with plenty of "blood and guts". The support seemed strangely muted but there again I think that the significance of the match was also effecting both teams. It was certainly a team effort, I feel that earlier in the season we would have capitulated but the new confidence in the squad is certainly having the best possible effect - 7 wins on the trot, long may it continue.
