The latest report from base camp is a good one mate.Although still slightly depleted, we looked to have sufficient squad numbers last night.Brakey has trained twice this week along with Dan "Suede" Meredith who look to be starting tomorrow with Ieuan in the front three.Downside is that last years cornerstone of the front row, Adam Pegler is still struggling with injury so doesn`t even make the bench.[Think Mike "Boxer" James will step in in his place!!!!]Also, Lewis "Wally" Elliot looks to have moved on to new pastures after strong talk/links with a move to Tredegar so we wish him well with that.Behind we look OK, on the positive we hope to have Bruce Corlett back subject to dentists report believe it or not!!!!
The boys are aware of the big challenge ahead.It was duly noted that the points for[lots!!] and against[not many!!] that Bettws possess at the mo`, albeit against two clubs towards the foot of the table.Should be a good clash with the added incentive of last years somewhat humbling defeat down there...........
