Right no direct mention but the call for friends to make donations.
I am thinking that once the fund drive came about the organization either formally or informally came into existence and continued up through at least the early years of the college.
All those people who took out adverts and the Dow board as well as the alumni were probably in it. Many may not have been around for all that long though as there were a lot of elderly alumni and many former Dow students had gone elsewhere by the time FC was proposed.
Not really sure how to go about finding out more this far from the events of that time frame though.
