Dawg, I have read more award-winning books on World War II than most folks as well as some pretty good books that won no awards but were recomended by other history buffs like my dad and some teachers. None of these Historians ever came out and justified doing an invasion versus the nukes. To me the Daisaku Ikeda's non-fiction book series "The Human Revolution" in it he states that the militrists were determined to keep the war going; some even after the first nuke was dropped.

Most military historians firmly believe that an invasion would have been bloody as hell.

Ned can believe what he wants. But you are surely aware that he will never acknowledge any error. Thanks for the link.
