Subject: prayer meetings, adoption, abortion

about 20 years ago i had a friend who took me to prayer meetings. i like the praying for people. there was much love in that.
what was popular at the time was people praying to have children. after a while they would pray for adopting babies. what they wanted, put into god as a wish list were new born white babies who didn't come from drug addicts.
we all know there are so many children who need homes full of love that do not fit that order because they only wanted "pure, clean babies" i found this disturbing.
after a while of people praying for 'clean, pure, babies" the right to life started to take over.
if there were no abortions there would be plenty of "clean,pure babies"
this has always disturbed me.
by now the right to life people don't see it that way.
the movement happened so slow it sank into their minds.
i don't know. i do know they will go on and on about life and the evil this and that.
they may be against abortion but they are not for giving help to the people that need help because they have another child.
as obama said "ownership society, you are on your own"
