The way I see it as long as it is still here people will find and use the forum at least as a bridge to other social media where most of the old crew is now hanging out.
If Facebook fails or changes too much then maybe they will come back here again in larger numbers.
Meanwhile every once in a while someone who does show up will post to try and get things happening again.
If the right subject comes up then just maybe it will stimulate more participation.

One thing I think that turns a lot of people off is dealing with the captchca thing. if they screw it up a couple of times thanks to the choice symbols ( like is it an o O or a 0 (zero ) and such like )then many people will just stop trying cause it's too much trouble to post a message for them.

Of course we no longer have any real things to talk about thanks to the last election taking out most of the left wing who went to facebook and no one seems to want to talk politics here which was the main arguent and major posting thing.

We could discuss a lot of things but I bet most of the opinionated people are no longer checking in here even , at least those who used to post what started discussions or real arguments.
Guess maybe now that it is all over the media there isn't much point in doing it yourself .... at least not here where no one is watching.....
