Sorry to read about Judy's passing. We kept touch by email for a year or so after the last reunion. How did she die? I suppose it doesn't matter as we all find our way there somehow. Its odd viewing images of ourselves, reading past stories and anecdotes of a brief period in time. They all seem so special, everyone at Franconia. What's comforting is that every person must have their years at a Franconia of their own. Judy wouldn't have minded my musing on like this, the last thing she sent me was a little book called Einstein's Dreams. I recently drove through Franconia, it doesn't seem to age, the brook still draws waters off Mt Laffayette, the real estate boom never blew the town apart with high rises, most everything is as it was except the ponderous hotel. I drove the road to Bethlehem and it occurred to me to try and find Judy and say hello. That's the damn thing about life, you think to yourself its always there, you just need to make a phone call, drop a line into someone's email. Time does fly, I'd like to offer a warm hello to all old friends and acquaintances, especially to those who knew Judy best as I was simply in a wide orbit and yet influenced by her wonderful mind and thoughtfulness.
