Yes I suspect it is spam as usual especially when it turnss up in the junk box not the inbox.
The option to check the message source is nice as it lets me see both the message as well as the sender etc without actually opening the e-mail where any embedded code might be transferred. Mqany of these spam messages come with a link to use to tell them you want to opt out which could as easily take you to somewhere that your info is collected or make a backdoor connection for that I suspect.

As usual I don't open them because I don't know the sender even when it is something I recognise like facebook.
