Yeah , a lot of speed boat people on the jersey shore. PT Pleasant has one of the best speedboat operations and that was where they hosted the BeniHanna races from that I used to watch going up and back out at sea. also a lot of speed boaters in lakes in this state now.

That Trojan had two Cummins deisels I think but maybe not. in any case the gearing was set up for speed not economy and it was one nice boat all teak and brasswork both inside and out. His dad actually lived on the boat when he was down in Wildwood. I think Norm would visit but stay at his Gramps house. He did have a boardawlk concession next to the general stor on the boardwalk where his mom made summer pocket money when they were down there. Norm sold comics, paperbacks , and magazines to the philly crowd who came and went by bus on day trips. his spiel ( everyone on the walk had one like the hot waffles and ice cream guy and the other usual stuff) was "get your dirty books , get your dirty books here. ( to read on the way back of course ) A free paper bag with every book you buy"

quite an entrepreneur back then
