Glad you got off relatively lightly Adelina.
Might have done the hotel bit myself if I was not doing contact telephony for two of my neighbors with their kids out on the west coast making late night phone calls.

Yes it is a shame about all of the old trees that got hammered on your side of the storm track. I hate to see some of the really old and well developed trees come down.
In a near by town a few years back a prerevolutionary oak gave up the ghost literally and came down when the wind blew in a direction it usually does not. that tree was a shel of itself with nothing inside and room for two or three people to have stood in it. It was spread out over most of a field and very much like the Kilmer Oak that used to be down on the Rutgers campus. The Kilmer oak died because they put a library around it and probably damaged the roots in the process. Idiots considering that Rutgers has an Ag school that could have told them not to do it.
